Assisted Job Placement Program

How the program works…

 Youth ages 14-21 take a 5 day course learning the realities and expectations of employers and being employed. From Customer Service Training and Understanding Paperwork to Time Management and Work Ethic. Our program candidates are “Job Ready’ and motivated to work when they graduate. As a preferred employer you would be included on the list of businesses we send our youth to interview with. After the Youth is hired with one of our preferred employers we provide support for the first month of employment for any questions or further training support to help the youth continue to be successful. We believe the more we invest into the youth the more they will invest in themselves. 

How can you be a part of this program? …. We are so glad you ask!

1. Provide Gift Cards or Items from your business for TYP to raffle and give away

Bringing more customers to you and providing us raffle items to grow donations further

2. Topeka Youth Project Day at your business one time per month (or as often as you like)

Percentage of sales or just a day your employees mention our organization to customers

3. Place our brochure/posters/donation container (your choice) in a highly visible spot in your business to help sponsor students through our program.
